My Second Home's Director Rina Bellamy is thrilled to announce that the recent fundraising dinner "La Dolce Vita" was an extraordinary success. "The dinner was so wonderful; it far exceeded our expectations," notes Bellamy. The nearly 160 guests at the dinner, held at the Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, helped raise $70,000 for My Second Home's Scholarship Fund. Family Services of Westchester's award-winning intergenerational adult day program enables seniors to interact several times a day with children from the adjacent Mount Kisco Child Care Center. The dinner's co-chairs, Christy and Steve Ruvituso, worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to secure wonderful auction items and attract guests. Frank and Cassie Kernan, longtime supporters of My Second Home, were the honorees.
