On April 11th at the Westport Arts Center, the Board of Directors of the HBS Club of Connecticut Community Partners celebrated the practice and accomplishments of nonprofit volunteerism and outstanding social leadership in our community. The evening’s proceeds supported a scholarship to send Kitty Stalsburg, Executive Director of High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme, CT, to Harvard Business School during 2012 for an intensive executive education program called "Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management” (SPNM).  Kitty is the 10th Connecticut-based non-profit executive to benefit from the scholarship.  The scholarship announcement was made at the beginning of the evening by representatives of Community Partners and U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, the presenting sponsor.   

Community Partners also recognized Susan Ross and her husband Dr. Charles MacCormack as winners of the 2012 Distinguished Civic Leadership award.

Community Partners presented the award of Distinguished Volunteer to one of its own – Gautam Ramchandani. Gautam has been of service to HBS, its alumni, Community Partners, and the non-profit organizations in CT through his tireless contributions since graduation in 1977.
