Stamford, CTMay 2, 2017

As the CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the architect of eBay worldwide success, Meg Whitman has earned a reputation as a titan in the tech industry.  But it wasn’t until her bid for the governor’s office in California did she feel that she hit her leadership stride.

During her keynote remarks at Family Centers’ Titan Series Breakfast on May 2 at the Stamford Marriott, Whitman shared candid stories of her time as eBay’s first CEO and how she facilitated Hewlett Packard’s massive turnaround.  She also offered her perspectives on leadership, professional growth and the future of the tech industry.

“Since running for governor in 2010, I’ve become a better communicator,” she told an audience of 325.  “I learned to tell stories and do things symbolically.

The breakfast, which was chaired by Greenwich resident Nancy Casserley, raised more than $70,000 for Family Centers’ early care and education programs.
