Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year
Rye, NYApril 6, 2017
Over the next ten weeks, 9 candidates from Connecticut and the Westchester and Hudson Valley regions of New York will work tirelessly to collectively raise more than $1 million to invest in research to fight blood cancer for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as part of a national program called Man & Woman of the Year. The 9 candidates and their team members kicked off their ten week competition on April 6, 2017 at the Man & Woman of the Year Kickoff event held at The Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, NY.
Every dollar raised counts as one vote and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of the ten weeks. Top local fundraisers become eligible to win the national titles.
The campaign runs between April 6-June 17, and the winner will be announced at a Gala Event held on June 17, 2017 at The Hilton in Stamford, CT.
