Tell us about yourself and your family.
My world has always revolved around my children. I would do anything to protect them and tee them up for success. Very proud and grateful that all three are kindhearted, loving, intelligent and uber-motivated.
Where do you work?
I am director of marketing for ORTEC, a global analytics and supply chain logistics optimization company that helps companies optimize logistics, saving them millions and significantly reducing their carbon footprints.
What sets your company apart from the rest?
The people. A fun combination of American, Dutch, Russian, Australian, Jamaican and Moroccan minds. The smartest and kindest team I’ve worked with.
What led you to getting a Samsung phone?
When visiting my friend Susan Lehman, her passion and excitement for her Samsung phone, tablets, TV, fitness gear, Virtual Reality gear – all integrated – blew my mind so…I ditched my iPhone for a Samsung.
Which one do you have?
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
What role does your Galaxy phone play at your work?
The camera is excellent. I can take high resolution videos and photos on the fly and edit like a professional. Thanks to all the photo apps out there, it makes it easy to post on social media platforms and use in digital marketing.
What are your 3 favorite features of your Galaxy?
- Slim, sexy design
- The camera feature is unbeatable
- Battery life – it lasts through my whole day!
What are your top 3 favorite apps?
- Spotify – I listen to music constantly
- S Health – helping me train for a half marathon
- Waze – love my Aussie navigator!
If you could design an app for the future, what would you make?
FEED THE WORLD – Enabling humanitarian organizations globally to post areas of critical need, providing food growers/manufacturers a system to store excess inventory and a transportation system to move food and water from storage to starving mouths, ASAP.
What do you think is the best invention (so far) in your lifetime?
The smart phone. Making communications a 24/7, real-time gig professionally and personally. Like anything in life, it’s all about balance and respect.
