Greenwich Exchange Boutique Shopping Event Benefit for YWCA Domestic Abuse Program

“WE NEED YOUR HELP!” …Say NO to Violence! October is Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month
Shop for Hope! Saturday, Oct 14 from 12-4 pm…Greenwich Exchange Fundraising Event partnering with Greenwich YWCA for their Domestic Abuse Services Program.

Several New vendors and some old favorites will be joining us with their unique handmade wares… along with special One-Day Only sales, artisan demonstrations, gourmet tastings, door prizes, raffle, give-aways, free refreshments… Help us raise awareness!

25% of proceeds raised from this event will benefit YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services which include crisis intervention, 24/7 hotline, individual and group counseling for adults and children, criminal and civil court advocacy, and emergency shelter. YWCA Greenwich is the only state designated provider of domestic abuse services in Greenwich with staff who are licensed to provide a variety of victim services.

In the Town of Greenwich, domestic violence is the most reported violent crime and one of the most dangerous calls for our police officers. Last year, YWCA Domestic Abuse Services answered over 4500 calls and provided over 1000 bed-nights for victims of domestic abuse. The organization also responded to over 1000 calls to its hotline, and nearly every day someone came to the YWCA building asking for help.
