Where do you work? Family Centers

Job title: Vice President of Communications and Strategy

Married?  I’ve been lucky enough to be married to my wife, Beth, for the past 14 years. Kids?  I’m equally as lucky to have two very creative, athletic and compassionate boys.  William is 10.  Matthew is 8.

Where do you live?  Stamford, CT

When you want to look casual but sharp, what’s your go-to outfit?  You can never go wrong with a dark pair of jeans, a great fitted button-up shirt and a blazer.  To give it that classy/casual vibe, I like my Adidas shell-tops.  I must admit that recently the Rodd & Gunn Jack Reacher jacket is one of my favorite new pieces.

What’s the one item of clothing you can’t live without in your wardrobe? Accessory?  I’m a total hat guy, but I wouldn’t say my tastes are over the top.  You’d be surprised how versatile a solid ball cap or fun fedora can be!

Shoes or watch — what’s your splurge item?  Hmmm… I’m honestly not a shoes or watch guy.  I generally have one watch that’s my go-to and like what I like when it comes to shoes.  If I had to choose one, I’d say shoes… they can totally make the outfit.

What is still in your closet from your college days?  I have a few concert tees lying around.

What’s on your holiday wish list?  A new house!  We’re hunting!

What fashion trend do you wish would go away?  Mullets can still be found in certain areas!  Keep your eye out!  They’re like Sasquatch!

How do you stay in shape?  I’m an avid runner.  Over the past six years, I’ve run marathons and raise money for Family Centers in the process.  It’s always amazing to me to see what the human body can do when it’s pushed to the limit!

Favorite sport to play/do? Favorite spectator sport?  Considering that I’m on the baseball field a good part of the year while coaching my son’s little league team, I’m a big fan of our “Nation’s Past-time.”  The Mets are going to do good things next year!  I can feel it.

Favorite vacation spot?  My wife and I visited Paris for the first time this summer.  I can’t wait to go back.

Favorite electronics/gadget?  My Garmin Forerunner 235 GPS watch.

Favorite decade for music?  The guys in my band, Finster, love giving me a hard time about my love of Classic Rock.  While I do love the 60’s and 70’s, I’m a 90’s kid a heart.

What concert in the past would you give your eye teeth to attend? Who do you want to see now?  I’ve been lucky to see so many great shows, but I would have loved to see Stevie Ray Vaughan in concert.  As for newer bands, Tedeschi Trucks Band is on my list.

Beer or bourbon?  Mmmmm… Beer.  IPA, please.

What shows are you streaming now? I’m trying to get through the first few seasons of The Walking Dead.  I’ll be up to date one of these years.

Charity of choice?  Family Centers, of course!  I’m honored to be part of such an important organization that provides critical health, education and human service programs to more than 21,000 people in our community.  I’m also a big fan of Adopt-a-Dog (where we got our black lab, Bowie, a few years back).
