Netflix Documentary – Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things
“Minimalism” is a very well-made documentary that addresses contemporary issues of people attempting to address happiness through the consumption of things. Although many may perceive minimalism as a “chic” or rather “useless” aesthetic ideal, the documentary presents minimalism as a simple lifestyle that can be or should be lived by everyone. Millburn and Nicodemus do a good job explaining why less is more in your search for a meaningful and happy life.
Oscar and Emmy winner Kevin Costner is the marquee attraction of the ensemble cast in this drama series, starring as the patriarch of a powerful, complicated family of ranchers. A sixth-generation homesteader and devoted father, John Dutton controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. He operates in a corrupt world where politicians are compromised by influential oil and lumber corporations, and land grabs make developers billions. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect, Dutton’s property is in constant conflict with those it borders — an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park. Set against the rolling and lush background of Big Sky, one of the central storylines is a love story between Dutton’s daughter and the head ranch hand. It will make you believe in love against all odds again.

Enjoy Christmas in Nantucket: The final book WINTER SOLSTICE of the Winter series by Elin Hildebrand is heartwarming and bittersweet. The Quinn’s have become old friends, as has the Winter Street Inn. Once I started reading, I just couldn’t put it down until I read the last word. All your favorite people are here; Margaret and Drake, Kelley and Mitzi, Bart, Kevin, Paddy, Jennifer, Ava, and more. I have read every Elin Hilderbrand book, and this series is a keeper for me.
