Americares 29th Annual Airlift Benefit

The Americares Airlift Benefit on Oct. 1, 2016, raised a record $2.9 million for the organization’s health programs in more than 90 countries.
Nearly 900 guests attended the event at the JPMorgan Chase Hangar at Westchester County Airport presented by lead sponsor Medtronic. Award-winning journalist and HLN anchor Erica Hill served as Master of Ceremonies and guests danced to the sounds of Miami sensation, The Social. Roberta and James Conroy, Amanda and Bryan Hanson, Julie and Bas NieuweWeme and Sarah and Alexander Saint-Amand served as co-chairs.
The evening culminated with 100 guests boarding a plane to see the clinics, hospitals and community health programs Americares supports in El Salvador. The whirlwind 24-hour experience gave supporters an up-close look at the impact Americares is making with its health programs in underserved communities around the world.
