Family Centers 17th Annual Scrabble Challenge

Stamford, CTNovember 15, 2017

More than 40 teams showed off their skills with two-letter words on Wednesday, Nov. 15 and vied for “Scrabble Supremacy” at Literacy Volunteers at Family Centers’ 17th Annual Scrabble Challenge fundraiser.

The event, which was co-chaired by David Ball, David Tuttle and Victoria Zerjav, brought together families, school groups and members of the business community for an evening of friendly competition. Players enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and two rounds of Scrabble.

All proceeds supported Literacy Volunteers’ English-language, literacy and education services offered to more than 820 residents throughout Fairfield County.
