India Cultural Center of Greenwich (ICC) held its 2nd Annual Gala on Saturday, October 4th at the Greenwich Hyatt. The gala celebrated the organization’s second year of accomplishments and showcased Indian music, dance, art, fashion and food. The event included a silent auction and fundraiser to support ICC’s wealth of programming around Indian arts and culture. Daily Show correspondent Aaasif Mandvi served as the evening’s MC and musician Falu provided the evening’s entertainment. The gala was attended by 300 guests who helped make the event a night to remember.
India Cultural Center Greenwich is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote Indian culture and arts in the Lower Fairfield and Westchester areas. The organization was founded in 2012 with a goal to expose India’s rich and diverse culture to the community at large. ICC has been immensely successful in connecting the community through visual and performing arts events, culinary programs, prominent speakers, and a robust seniors and children’s program.
