REACH Prep’s Masquerade Bash

The REACH Prep Junior Council held its Masquerade Bash on Saturday, October 30th at the Village on the water in Stamford. Guests wore elaborate masquerade masks and enjoyed passed dinner, signature cocktails with recipes from Wilderness Safaris and Sexton Whiskey, silent and live auctions, and dancing. The guests were treated to surprise entertainment from electric violinist Molly Fletcher and were joined on the dance floor by dancers from the Jimmy Locust Dance Troupe. A REACH Prep alumnus, David Jaramillo, gave an inspiring speech to the crowd about how REACH Prep helped him to achieve his academic and career goals.

This fundraising event benefits REACH Prep’s mission to provide access to transformative educational experiences that empower underserved, high-achieving students to graduate from top colleges and emerge as the next generation of leaders. REACH Prep’s model is a 12-year continuum of guidance, rigorous preparation and comprehensive programming starts at the end of fourth grade and continues through to college graduation. The organization serves 250 students each year.
