YWCA Greenwich Old Bags Collection Luncheon
Greenwich, CTJanuary 30, 2020
On Thursday, January 30, YWCA Greenwich kicked off events leading up to the organization’s annual Old Bags Luncheon. The annual Old Bags Luncheon is a signature event that benefits YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services. The 2020 co-chairs are Connie Anne Harris, Lauren Walsh, Gretchen Bylow and Judith Wertheimer.
At the Collection Luncheon, participants brought beautiful new and gently used luxury bags to be auctioned off at the May 7 event which will be held at the Belle Haven Club in Greenwich. Bags, or contributions to the Bag Acquisition Fund will continue through the end of April. Please consider cleaning out your closet and donating a handbag to the Old Bags Luncheon auction.
YWCA Greenwich provides critical support to local victims of domestic violence, and all YWCA services for victims of abuse are provided free of charge. Domestic abuse services include crisis intervention, safety planning, group and individual counseling for adults and children, emergency shelter, and civil and criminal court advocacy.
If you have a bag you would like to donate, please contact Jackie Stam at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 203-869-6501, ext. 102.
