Tell us about yourself and your family.  Where did you grow up/go to school?

Born in Montreal, I attended B.C.S., Bishop’s College School and then went on to attend St. Lawrence in Canton, NY. Currently, I live in New York City with my 8 year old daughter who inspires me daily.  We spend summers in Greenwich and ski weekends in Vermont with my family.

Tell us about your job.

As the Vice President of North America Strategic Marketing & Partnerships at Six Flags, I oversee the company’s National and international sponsorship and marketing partnership team, which includes responsibility of revenue generation relating to Six Flags TV & Digital OOH networks, national retail promotions, special event sponsorship and consumer product licensing.  At the end of the day, working at a Theme Park company screams fun, right?  I get to be part of seeing families experience once in a lifetime experiences.  I feel pretty lucky to have such a rewarding job.

Six Flags is the largest regional theme park company in the world, with 18 parks across the United States, Mexico and Canada.  As a company, we are always looking at ways to be the leader in innovation by delivering unique ways to delight our guests during their visit to our parks.

What led you to getting a Galaxy phone?

When Six Flags started to look at VR, I had to do my research and purchased my first Samsung phone to better understand its capabilities and fully experience the Samsung Gear VR.  On more of a personal note, I capture lots of life’s moments with a camera and was excited to learn about all the camera capabilities in the S7.

Which one do you have? S7 edge.

What role does your Galaxy play at work?

My phone hardly leaves my side.  While we are a seasonal business, I need to be “on” 24/7.  There really isn’t downtime anymore.  Additionally, Six Flags launched VR on multiple coasters this year through a partnership with Samsung, and the Galaxy phones play a big part in that.

What are your 3 favorite features of your Galaxy?  Photo.  Samsung Pay.  SHealth.

What are your top 3 apps?  Instagram.  Uber.  Sonos.2016-7-26-borges-stephanie41410-as-smart-object-1-copy

If you could design an app for the future, what would you make?

One of my biggest challenges is getting everything done and on time.  If there was an app that could extract deadlines from emails and put them in to a To-Do list, that would be helpful.

What do you think is the best invention (so far) in your lifetime?

Uber.  I travel a lot and am often in cities where I need to get from A to B quickly.  Uber takes the stress out of navigation and gets me where I need to be in a timely manner
