[Norwalk, CT, April 14th] — Step into a world of memories and personal journeys at the upcoming “Been There” exhibition, where eight talented artists from the Artists Collective of Westport unveil a captivating collection of works. Opening Saturday, April 26th from 5-7 p.m. at ARTworks Gallery, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT, this exhibition runs through May 18th. Housed in the historic Chittim-Howell House on the grounds of St. Paul’s on the Green, the show promises to transport visitors through time and space with evocative paintings, striking photography, and thought-provoking sculptures. The public is warmly invited to meet the artists at the opening reception.
These artists—Janine Brown, Louise Cadoux, Leonor Dao, Susan Fehlinger, Rebeca Fuchs, Fruma Markowitz, Barbara Ringer, and Lisa Silberman—bring depth to their craft. For over a year, they’ve gathered monthly as a critique group within the Artists Collective of Westport, sharing feedback that has sharpened their skills and shaped their visions. The result?
