A chat with designer, Kerry Jacobs
I founded Manor+Woods in 2018 and business has grown quickly!
Our design style is a mix of traditional lines with modern sensibility. We craft bespoke interiors to reflect the unique tastes and visions of the homeowner.
When designing your tablescape for the LOOK Holiday Design Luncheon, what was your inspiration?
My inspiration for this tablescape was derived from my wedding china. Hand painted in France by Marie Daage, these fuchsia chargers and salad plates were the color pop we wanted to build the tablescape around. Currently our favorite colors to work with are browns, tans, mauves, and pinks. Once we had our color palette, Tina Walsh of Lavish Gardner, went to work hunting the best blooms for our centerpiece in the NYC flower district. The brown table cloth by matouk, the burlap underlay, and the feathers were a nod to the traditional colors of Thanksgiving, and by adding in the fuchsia and the mauves it made the table more relevant to the color trends of 2024.

Who would you invite as guests to this table?
This table is screaming for a “friends-giving” or a “girls holiday dinner”. We would love to host a vibrant and good humored meal with our best girlfriends at this table.
