A Love Letter to My Grandmother

Photography by ChiChi Ubina

I’m the founder of Sunset Interieurs, a residential interior design studio serving NYC, Cape Cod, and Connecticut. I began my career in finance, but I always felt a creative side waiting to be expressed. After remodeling several of our own homes, I realized design was something I had to pursue fully.

My work is rooted in a love of beauty, comfort, and meaningful storytelling—shaped by my upbringing, global travels, and lifelong appreciation for art and nature. What began as a personal passion has grown into meaningful collaborations with clients and the creation of spaces they are proud to call home.

I’ve always believed that a world without color is a world without joy, and I love infusing my work with color to bring life, warmth, and personality to every space—refined, functional, and designed for comfortable living.

My tablescape was dedicated to my grandmother, a Holocaust survivor whose strength guides me daily. Though I never met her, I carry her name, and using her cherished dishes allowed me to honor her legacy in a tangible, intimate way.

Guest List

I would invite my grandmother, my mother, and my daughter—three generations sharing one table. I imagine the stories, wisdom, and deep connection flowing between us. It would be the most humbling and meaningful gathering I could ever create.
