YWCA Greenwich will be holding its 8th Annual Women Who Inspire Awards to recognize exceptional women in our community. YWCA Greenwich’s Women Who Inspire Awards was established to recognize and celebrate outstanding women who have excelled in philanthropic, professional, and volunteer pursuits. Importantly, these honorees have enriched the lives of many in our community. This event acknowledges the changes in society that have led to the fluidity of work/life pursuits for women of today.

Sara Allard is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Case Study Brands, a Greenwich-based creative agency built on the belief that well-designed branding and communications create value and drive growth. She leads an all-female team that partners closely with businesses and nonprofits to uncover what makes them unique, then builds the brand strategy, identity, websites, and marketing tools to bring that story to life.

Before founding Case Study Brands in 2012, Sara built her expertise through an early career in advertising, followed by more than a decade as Creative Director at Carole Hochman Design Group, where she led creative direction for brands including Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, and Betsey Johnson. Inspired by beauty, intelligence, and purpose, she built Case Study Brands to bring that same caliber of strategic creativity to every client. Since its founding, the agency has allowed Sara to deeply immerse herself in the Greenwich community — working alongside local businesses and nonprofits, including a long-standing creative partnership with the Greenwich Town Party.

Equally central to Sara’s life is her commitment to philanthropy. She is a founding member and current

Advisory Board member of Impact Fairfield County, a women’s collective giving circle that has contributed over $2.6 million in grants to local nonprofits over the past decade. Inspired by Impact’s founder, she launched Generation Impact in 2018 with her daughter Isabel — a philanthropy initiative where high school girls review grant applications, conduct site visits, and collectively award funding to local organizations serving youth & families. To date, 835 members have awarded $118,000 to youth-focused programs across Fairfield County.

Sara also serves on the Birthright Israel Foundation Westchester Cabinet, the Greenwich Point Conservancy board, and the Dean’s Advisory Council at her alma mater, the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design.

Sara lives in Riverside with her husband Matt and their three children. She is honored to follow in her daughter Isabel’s footsteps — a previous recipient of this award — as a YWCA Next Generation Woman Who Inspires.
