The 10 th Annual Celebrating Hope was an inspirational gala recognizing the passion, progress, and purpose of the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter. Held at Greenwich Country Club on Friday, May 12, co-chairs Brent and Courtney Montgomery rolled out the purple carpet at a Hollywood-themed event which was attended by over 300 guests.

During the event, the Alzheimer’s Association awarded the efforts of three outstanding individuals – Ginge Cabrera, Dr. Chris van Dyck, and Leonard Marshall, welcomed Lara Spencer and Scott Wapner as co-hosts, enjoyed a wildly successful live auction and paddle raise, and danced the night away with Kunjan Collective. The event raised an astounding $550,000 in support of the Alzheimer’s Association, due to the immense generosity of dedicated donors and volunteers.

There are 80,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease in Connecticut, and that number is expected to reach 91,000 by 2025. This annual gala helps the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter educate and empower those with dementia and their caregivers, as well as fuel critical research towards new treatments and effective ways to manage this disease.
