The Avon Theatre Film Center hosted a dazzling evening in Stamford on October 14, celebrating the legendary Clive Davis with its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. The sold-out gala drew a packed house of film and music lovers to honor the five-time GRAMMY® Award winner whose influence has shaped generations of artists.

Guests enjoyed remarkable live performances from Ryan Shaw, Mandy Gonzalez, Paul Shaffer, Capathia Jenkins, and the Yale Alley Cats, under the musical direction of Todd Ellison. The program also featured heartfelt video tributes from Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Martha Stewart, and Melissa Manchester, along with an emotional award presentation by Pat Houston, who spoke movingly of Davis’s mentorship and his pivotal role in Whitney Houston’s career. The night culminated in a rousing, all-star finale of “That’s What Friends Are For,” bringing the audience to its feet.
