On September 30, 2025, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich proudly reopened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Rebecca S. Breed Clubhouse. More than 250 guests, including donors, elected officials, alumni, community partners, and families, gathered to celebrate the milestone and tour the expanded facility. Founded in 1910, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich has served generations of local youth, with its iconic clubhouse—originally built in the late 1930s—standing as a cornerstone of the community. The recent renovation marks the most significant transformation in its history.

The project was the culmination of a two-year renovation, during which BGCG continued to serve children from five satellite locations across Greenwich. The transformation modernized the Club’s longtime home, growing it from 50,000 square feet to 63,000 square feet and equipping it with new academic space, a regulation-size gymnasium, an amphitheater, a café, and a dedicated teen center. These additions ensure that the Club can meet the evolving needs of Greenwich youth for generations to come.
