This year’s Kids In Crisis Gala, Grazie: A Night In Italy, was held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Burning Tree Country Club. It was a lovely evening of fine food, wine, and fantastic company – all to benefit Fairfield County children in need.

Event co-chairs Kristen Forlini and Karen Tepper-Bauduin, and our hard-working event committee planned an incredible evening. Sly the Piano Guy entertained us during cocktails, while Paloma Skye filled the dance floor later in the evening. Greenwich-born and raised artist Katie Swatland created a beautiful painting on site for auction, and Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses provided lush foliage decor to add to the Italian ambiance. Las Vegas Magician and Mentalist Kent Axell opened up the evening’s program for Jodi Applegate, Jeff Glor, and Demetra Soterakis to lead us through a lively auction and paddle raise to support the Kids In Crisis pledge to impact 25,000 children by 2025.
