Twenty-two young women of distinction from the United States and abroad made their bows at the 68^th International Debutante Ball on Thursday December 29^th, 2022, at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. This year’s debutantes represent Belgium, England, France, Greece, Iran, Scotland, and five American states. Each debutante was accompanied by her escort in white tie and tails. The Ball benefits The International Debutante Ball Foundation and supports the ongoing mission of the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club of New York City, which has been providing a home away from home for the men and women of our armed services for over a century.

The Honorary Chairmen are Ms. Julia Irene Kauffman and Mrs. David Hamilton. Mrs. Gregory S. Hedberg is the Director and General Chairman of the Ball. The International Committee includes H.R.H. Princess Chantal of France, Baron Francoise de Sambucy de Sorgue and Mr. and Mrs. Christopher C. Forbes. Ball Chairmen are Mrs. Andrew Beer, Mrs. Jacqueline Mars, Mrs. Spencer Neville Brown, Mrs. Ryland Chase, Ms. Julie Nixon Eisenhower, and Ms. Susan Eisenhower.
