The third annual UConn Legends Golf Tournament took place Monday, July 27 at Greenwich Country Club. NBA champions and UConn alumni Ray Allen and Scott Burrell along with Karen Hopp started UConn Legends in 2024 to bring together UConn men’s basketball alumni and Husky fans to raise money for the university’s Fight on Fund. In addition to Ray and Scott, participating alumni athletes included Rashad Anderson, Joey Calcaterra, Jeff Calhoun, Donovan Clingan, Hassan Diarra, John Gwynn, Jeremy Lamb, Coach Tom Moore, Coach Mike Nardi, Ed Nelson, Tristan Newton, Tyler Olander, David Onuorah, Alex Orahaki, Chris Smith and Jake Voskuhl who teamed up for golf with donors. Members of the 2027 UConn Huskies Men’s Basketball team joined for the evening portion of the event where coaches previewed the upcoming season and the auction featured exclusive UConn basketball experiences.
